Why we do not use shopping carts on our website

We like to communicate with our customers directly before placing your order. As most of our products are large items, we like to keep ordering errors to a minimum and we can only do this by knowing more details about your needs. 

We are also not comfortable storing customers' sensitive data on our computers.

Not using a credit card? Ask us for a cash discount (up to 2% or $300, which ever is less) on purchases, not including shipping.

As for the privacy of your information, be assured that we will never sell, rent or otherwise use our customers' data.

Shipping

Shipping quotes for PV panels are provided by the manufacturers. We do not make money on shipping and try to quote you as accurately as possible the actual shipping costs, with insurance.  The safest way to ship panels is to have them banded to a pallet.  This increases the cost of shipping due to the weight of the pallet but it works.

Price Fluctuations

While we try to stay with the prices on our website, inverter and PV panel prices tend to fluctuate. Verify current price with us before placing order.

Check your Shipment on Arrival

When you receive your shipment of PV solar panels or other equipment, examine the units very carefully, being careful also not to damage the packaging, to make sure no damage has been sustained during shipment. If there is evident damage, immediately inform both the shipper and Beyond Oil.

International Orders

We cannot accept credit card payments for orders placed outside the United States or Canada. 

International orders will need to be prepaid by money order, wire transfer or check and will only be shipped after the payment has cleared.

Returns

Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of receiving product and then only if the item is in "as new" condition and with all the original packaging intact. Shipping charges on returns are the customer's responsibility, unless return is due to an error on our part. 

Remember to fully insure the product before returning.

Returns of items (including PV panels) after 30 days or items not in the original packaging may be subject to 15% restocking fee.

Call us before returning any items.

Defective Products

Defective products, or products that do not perform as advertised in the manufacturer's sales literature, are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. Do not return these products to Beyond Oil but do contact us and let us know about the problem.
